A. Regis High School. Located near the Central Park upper west side, Regis High School is one of the most competitive high schools in NYC. As an all-boy’s college-prep high school, it offers a rigorous college preparation program to Roman Catholic families- all tuition free!

Q. Who can apply?
Child must be a Roman Catholic to apply for eligibility. A baptismal certificate will be required for an admission application.
Qualified to take the NYC Hunter High Entrance Exam with top scores on the NY Statewide ELA and Math.
Top 10% of his grade level and demonstrates maturity and independence to take greater responsibility academically.
Shows strong initiative and confidence to excel academically, allowing child to flourish in challenging environments.

Q. What is the selection process?
A. Each year, Regis High School receives over 1500 applications from rising 9th graders as they compete for 1 of the 250 seats available. All eligible applicants are invited to take the HSPT offered at Regis High School in early month in November. However, only selected students are invited back around mid-December for a one-on-one interview that will serve as the 2nd round of the application process.

A. The tests above, requires mastery of general knowledge as well as proficiency with advanced learning techniques. Our enrichment and high school admissions’ specific courses can help build the skills and techniques needed to gain successful scores.
