Kent’s SSAT® Program combines structured instruction with targeted practice to build stronger reading, sharper math accuracy, and confident pacing under time pressure. The result is measurable score growth and a more competitive application for leading day schools and boarding schools. Furthermore, because true academic distinction in today’s AI era requires deep thinking and uninterrupted focus, our four-week, device-free retreat allows students to completely unplug from digital distractions. Set within a secure environment featuring 24-hour Kent staff and campus police supervision, this immersive experience cultivates the advanced problem-solving skills, intellectual stamina, and academic independence necessary to truly stand out.

Nurture your test taking skill and learn to be Independent

For many students, this is their first academic “getaway”—and sometimes their first time away from home. Kent’s SSAT® Intensive is designed to help students become more independent in a private-school–style setting: they learn to manage their time, stay organized, and follow a structured routine without constant reminders in a 24/7 adult supervised setting. In this focused, high-accountability study environment built around mastering the SSAT®, students do more than just improve their skills. They build the confidence and academic independence they’ll rely on in high school and beyond.

Tuition

SSAT® Prep

4-Week Residential Program (2026) – $11,920

  • December 28, 2025: $750

Returning Student Discount: $1,000

Alumni Referral Discount (Friends and Family): $500

Sibling Discount : $500
*Only 50% of Sibling DC is applied if another DC is applied

Admission Process

Online application

The online application found on the Registration page must be submitted with a $750 deposit. If a candidate is interviewed and rejected, $500 will be refunded back ($250 Application & Interview fee is non-refundable).

Interview

A Zoom, or in-person interview will be scheduled within a week via email upon submission and review of the completed application.

Submission

Once the preliminary interview is completed successfully, the following documents must be submitted:

1. a copy of the latest school transcript
2. latest standardized test scores, if any (i.e., SSAT® , PSAT®)
3. 1 references from an educator or previous Kent Prefect / Noblesse family referral contact

Acceptance

  • Once all required documents are received and reviewed, a welcome package- including a formal acceptance letter and needed forms will be emailed.
  • All required materials and forms must be submitted by date specified on acceptance letter.

Transportation

Accordingly, for students that need to fly in, flights should be booked as soon as acceptance letter is received to ensure flights.

Application Deadline

Early Decision

December 31, 2025

Early decision discounts are provided exclusively for early applicants—students who participate in an early interview, which may result in an early decision.
To be eligible for the early decision discount, students must compete their screening process by the specified date.

*Application + $750 deposit must be submitted by indicated date

Regular Application Deadline

June 16, 2026
