More Than a Traditional Summer Program

The Kent Noblesse Program is an immersive residential experience designed to prepare students for both the academic rigor and personal responsibility of high school. Within a small, carefully selected cohort, students are guided by trained counselors who serve as mentors alongside experienced instructors, providing both academic and personal support.

Through intentional structure and expert leadership, students strengthen core academic skills while developing focus, discipline, and maturity.

In a fully electronics-free environment, students engage more deeply in their work and daily routines, learning to manage their time, sustain their attention, and take ownership of their responsibilities. Each day balances academic training, structured study, and physical activity, reinforcing both mental discipline and physical resilience.

Academic instruction is aligned with the demands of competitive entrance exams, including SHSAT, SSAT, ISEE, HSPT, and PSAT—laying an early foundation for long-term academic achievement.

Students strengthen essential skills in reading, writing, vocabulary, and math while developing the focus and composure needed to perform at a high level. With consistent expectations and guided instruction, they build readiness not only for entrance exams, but for continued success throughout high school and into future opportunities.

Each day begins with physical trainer–led morning exercise, where students rise independently and start the day with intention. These sessions build discipline while boosting energy, focus, and mental clarity, supporting sustained engagement.

Within a consistent, distraction-free setting, students learn to manage their time and take ownership of daily responsibilities—from waking independently to arriving on time and prepared. These habits build the independence and discipline expected in high school.

By the end of the program, students will:

  • Read A Complete Book

    Students read and complete a full-length book, building reading stamina and deeper comprehension while strengthening their ability to engage with more advanced texts and develop a lasting appreciation for reading.

  • Use 200 New, High-level Vocabulary Words

    Students build a strong foundation in academic vocabulary, strengthening their ability to understand complex texts and express ideas with greater clarity and precision.

  • Write Three Polished Essays

    Students develop and refine three structured essays, strengthening their ability to organize ideas, write with clarity, and communicate effectively across academic contexts.

  • Deliver A Speech

    Students prepare and deliver a speech, building confidence in organizing their thoughts and expressing ideas clearly in front of others.

  • Learn New Math & Logic Strategies + Gain Practice

    Students engage in consistent math and logic practice, strengthening problem-solving skills, accuracy, and the ability to approach complex questions with confidence.

We are committed not only to academic growth, but to who students are becoming. Through Kent Prep’s CAP Leadership Module, students develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of presence.

Leadership Development

Students build leadership through experience—not just instruction. Through collaboration, shared responsibility, and guided decision-making, they learn to contribute meaningfully and lead with confidence. With the support of our CAP framework, students develop self-awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to step forward with clarity in any setting.

Etiquette & Dining

As part of our CAP Leadership Module, students are introduced to dining etiquette and social awareness in a welcoming, hands-on setting. They learn how to navigate both formal and everyday environments with ease and confidence. Over time, students develop a sense of comfort and poise that carries into school events, interviews, and future opportunities.

Dress & Presentation

As part of our CAP Leadership Module, students develop a strong sense of personal presentation—how they carry themselves with confidence, awareness, and intention. Rather than focusing on rules, we guide them in understanding how to read different environments and present themselves with ease and appropriateness. Through practical guidance and real-world application, students begin to carry themselves with quiet confidence across academic, social, and more formal settings.

Public Speaking

Each student prepares and delivers a speech in a supportive and encouraging environment. With clear guidance, they learn how to organize their thoughts and communicate with clarity and purpose. Over time, students build the confidence to express themselves effectively—developing a skill that supports success in the classroom, interviews, and beyond.

Selective Admissions Process

Admission to the Kent Noblesse Program is selective, ensuring a focused and high-performing cohort.

Applicants are evaluated through a Kent Prep online placement test, a review of recent report cards, a student interview, and a referral from an educator or Kent Prep alum.

This process allows us to ensure an environment where students can grow with confidence, surrounded by peers who share a commitment to learning and high standards.

Admissions Steps

Online Application

Applicants submit a Online Application along with a $750 deposit. If a candidate is interviewed and rejected, $500 will be refunded back ($250 Application & Interview fee is non-refundable).

Placement Test & Interview

Students complete a Kent Prep online placement test, followed by a student interview (Zoom or in-person). These steps help us understand each student’s academic level, motivation, and readiness for a structured residential environment.

Students who score 90% or above on the placement test are eligible for a $500 scholarship.

Document Submission

Following a successful interview, families submit:

  • Most recent school transcript/report card
  • Recent standardized test scores (if available)
  • One reference from an educator or Kent Prep Alum

Acceptance & Enrollment

Once all materials are reviewed, accepted students receive a formal acceptance package with next steps and required forms. Enrollment is confirmed upon completion of all required documents by the specified deadline.

Transportation Planning

Families traveling by air are encouraged to arrange flights upon acceptance to ensure availability.

Early Decision

Early decision discounts are provided exclusively for early applicants—students who participate in an early interview, which may result in an early decision.
To be eligible for the early decision discount, students must compete their screening process by the specified date.

*Application + $750 deposit must be submitted by indicated date

Regular Application Deadline

June 16, 2026
