The Upper SSAT Masterclass
Admission to top private high schools in the U.S. is highly competitive, and the SSAT can be a key differentiator. Kent’s SSAT Program combines structured instruction with targeted practice to build stronger reading, sharper math accuracy, and confident pacing under time pressure. The result is measurable score growth and a more competitive application for leading day schools and boarding schools. Furthermore, because true academic distinction in today’s AI era requires deep thinking and uninterrupted focus, our four-week, device-free retreat allows students to completely unplug from digital distractions. This immersive environment cultivates the advanced problem-solving skills, intellectual stamina, and academic independence necessary to truly stand out.

Nurture your test taking skill and learn to be Independent
For many students, this is their first academic “getaway”—and sometimes their first time away from home. Kent’s SSAT intensive places them in a structured environment where they learn focus, time management, and strong study habits without constant reminders. While the curriculum is built to master the SSAT, students leave with something even more valuable: confidence and academic independence heading into high school.

The Kent Difference: preparation with a destination.
A high-test score is powerful, but schools ultimately admit students – not numbers. Kent’s philosophy, CAP (Character, Aptitude, Passion), develops the full candidate. In addition to score improvement, we build the disciplined habits and culture of effort expected of high-level applicants.
That is the Kent Difference.
