In order to deliver the best and safest program for our students, we are welcoming fully vaccinated students in rising 7th grade – 12th grade into our classroom for in- person classes beginning this summer. All programs for rising Kindergarten – 6th Grade will remain online learning for Summer 2021.
SHSAT (New York City Specialized High School Test) for
7th – 8th Graders
Every one of the specialized high schools has its own unique advantages and impression, but most primarily concentrates on mathematics and science, the fundamental academic subjects for higher education. They each have their own array of advanced placement courses and electives.
Eight of these nine specialized high schools that require the test has a unique cutoff score that students must meet to be offered a seat. The test is scored out of 800, and through our expert preparation can help maximize scores, our counseling places up to 98% of our students into their ideal schools each year.
With in-class instruction from our test experts, you will have everything you need to do well on the SHSAT.
Throughout each course, subject-specific “mini-tests” are administered with each class to give you the information you need to know about how you are progressing and where you should focus your prep.

Practicing under realistic exam conditions allows for students to perfect their scores leading up to their official exam. Mock exams are also a great opportunity for you to pinpoint strengths and weakness, while also determining potential cutoff scores and schools.
